America First Legal Launches Lawsuit and Multi-faceted Investigation Into Biden-Harris Administration’s Ties to Iranian Regime

America First Legal has announced an investigation into the Biden-Harris Administration’s role in the leak of classified U.S. intelligence documents revealing Israel’s plans for a potential strike on Iran.

The investigation focuses on the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of State, Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

On October 17, a Telegram account reportedly linked to the Iranian government published two highly classified documents allegedly detailing Israel’s military preparations for a strike. The documents, titled “Israel: Air Force Continues Preparations for Strike on Iran and Conducts a Second Large-Force Employment Exercise” and “Israel: Defense Force Continue Key Munitions Preparations and Covert UAV Activity Almost Certainly for a Strike on Iran,” are said to include NGA satellite imagery and other signals intelligence on Israeli air bases, as well as surveillance of both military and civilian communications. The documents suggest U.S. officials may have advised Iran to evacuate specific military installations.

AFL has also filed a lawsuit against the DOD, demanding the release of records tied to Ariane Tabatabai, Christopher Maier, and other Biden Administration appointees allegedly linked to the leak, which the DOD denies. Tabatabai, reportedly a close associate of Harris advisor Phillip Gordon, is part of what AFL describes as the administration’s “pro-Iranian regime wing,” which includes Robert Malley and Salman Ahmed.

AFL says it will continue working to reveal any Biden-Harris Administration connections with Iran’s government, calling it a policy shift that reverses the Trump Administration’s approach to economically isolate Iran.
