President Trump has appointed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to a White House advisory committee focused on artificial intelligence policy, according to Axios.
Bondi will serve on the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, where she will help coordinate between the federal government and major technology leaders involved in shaping AI policy and infrastructure initiatives. The panel is chaired by David Sacks and Michael Kratsios and includes several top tech executives.
She will also take on a newly created advisory role tied to national infrastructure.
Bondi was reportedly diagnosed with thyroid cancer shortly after leaving the Justice Department. She has since undergone treatment and is recovering.
