Unredacted court documents suggest Jack Smith searched for North Korea and Obama documents in Mar-a-Lago raid

by | Apr 25, 2024

Recently unredacted documents, which Jack Smith argued against releasing, reveal collaborations between the Obama/Biden administration and various government entities to orchestrate schemes against President Trump.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was apparently targeting documents related to North Korea and wrongdoing by Obama, documents that Trump legally possessed under the Presidential Records Act.

The administration outlined their justifications for the raid prior to its occurrence. A post-raid report also sheds light on the administration's motives, indicating that their interest extended beyond the folder of purported Deep State crimes. The report mentions the presence of an accordion folder containing, among other items, correspondence from Obama and documents related to North Korea. “We need to verify that all of the correspondence is there,  but I think we are in good shape,” the report reads.

Given the track record of the Biden/Obama DOJ, their satisfaction with the obtained documents suggests they may have either acquired information that mitigated the risk of their own alleged wrongdoing being exposed, or they secured documents they intended to utilize in potential schemes against President Trump. It is quite possible that their contentment stemmed from both factors.

President Trump asserted, prior to his 2017 Inauguration, that Obama was on the verge of initiating a conflict with North Korea. Obama must have taken note of this comment, and decided to take action to retrieve any evidence Trump may have had for his claim.
