President Trump is actively promoting mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania despite previously acknowledging they were riddled with fraud. On Tuesday, his campaign launched SwampTheVoteUSA.com, a site designed to help rural voters in the state easily request mail-in ballots.
The new website, which connects directly to the Pennsylvania Department of State, allows voters to request mail-in ballots without being redirected to other sites. Republican National Committee Chair Michael Whatley emphasized that the site would streamline the process for voters, calling it a “fast-track” method for mail-in ballots.
Regarding Trump’s previous skepticism, Whatley told The Post that the president has always seen voting by mail as a valid option, likening it to traditional in-person and absentee voting.
“Our new Swamp The Vote website in Pennsylvania will make it faster, easier, and more secure than ever for patriots in the Keystone State to deliver their mail ballots for President Trump,” Whatley said, underscoring its role in the campaign's strategy to reclaim the White House in 2024.
During a visit to Bucks County in June, Whatley and RNC Co-Chair Lara Trump outlined the party’s approach of “protecting the vote” while using mail-in ballots to counteract the Democrats’ early voting advantage.
Although Pennsylvania starts accepting mail-in votes earlier than most states, its laws prevent counting those ballots until Election Day, often leaving votes from heavily Democratic areas as the last to be tallied.
