John Solomon Temporarily Steps Aside From Just The News Role to Assist Government Document Review

by | Jun 19, 2026

John Solomon is temporarily stepping back from his role as editor-in-chief of Just The News to assist the government in identifying classified or previously withheld documents related to allegations of government weaponization and election integrity issues.

Speaking on his show Just The News, No Noise, Solomon said:

“For the next couple of months I’m working as an unpaid government employee to help the government identify documents that can be released to the public. It’s your information after all, bureaucrats keep us from it.”

“I have an opportunity to help the government identify some documents, some secrets… we’re gonna work on that.”

Solomon said he is temporarily stepping away from his editor-in-chief role at Just The News during the effort, but will keep reporting:

“I think it’s a good role for a journalist to play—getting more information out.”
