The House of Representatives approved a $1.2 trillion funding deal Tuesday, ending the four-day partial government shutdown and sending the measure to President Trump’s desk for his signature.
Lawmakers passed the compromise 217-214, following Senate approval Friday, keeping roughly 97% of the government running through Sept. 30. Congress now faces a 10-day rush to fund the Department of Homeland Security before key agencies run out of money on Feb. 13.
