Qatar, U.S. Sign New Agreements to Expand Security Cooperation

Qatar’s Minister of Interior announced that FBI Director Kash Patel was received for official meetings during which two memoranda of understanding were signed to strengthen bilateral security cooperation between Qatar and the United States.

 

The agreements focus on expanding collaboration in training, information exchange, and capacity building, in line with directives issued by the Amir of Qatar.

Officials said the move reflects the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries and will support joint efforts to enhance security planning ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
