AFPI urges battleground states to ban non-citizen voting

by | Apr 26, 2024

The American First Policy Institute (AFPI) is urging key battleground states to fulfill their constitutional obligation to prevent non-American citizens from voting in the upcoming 2024 election.

AFPI has sent nine letters to the chief elections officers of Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, Nevada, Michigan, Illinois, California, and Arizona, where the organization believes there is a significant presence of illegal aliens. These letters, obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller, call on each state to uphold the National Voter Registration Act by ensuring that only eligible citizens are registered to vote.

The letters specifically request that each state's leader of elections, whether it be the secretary of state or executive director, take responsibility for overseeing the state's compliance with the National Voter Registration Act.

A prior analysis conducted by the Daily Caller revealed that approximately eight months before the 2024 election, several crucial battleground states, including those that ‘supported’ Biden in the 2020 election, are anticipated to retain many of the election procedures that sparked controversy during the previous presidential election.
