North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency announced that President Vladimir Putin will make the state visit on Tuesday and Wednesday. Russia confirmed the visit with a simultaneous announcement.
During President Vladimir Putin's visit to North Korea, the two nations will sign several “important documents,” potentially including a strategic partnership treaty, Russian news agencies reported on Monday, citing a Kremlin aide.
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov stated that “several documents will be signed,” among them “important, highly significant documents,” according to state-run agencies. Additionally, Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un are scheduled to address the media during the visit.
