President Trump on Friday called for a special prosecutor to investigate the 2020 election, citing overwhelming evidence of fraud and rising border crossings under Joe Biden.
“Zero Border crossings for the month for TRUMP, verses 60,000 for Sleepy, Crooked Joe Biden, a man who lost the 2020 Presidential Election by a “LANDSLIDE!” The 2020 election was a total FRAUD!” Trump posted on Truth Social. “The evidence is MASSIVE and OVERWHELMING. A Special Prosecutor must be appointed.”
Trump’s demand follows reports that U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted nearly 20,000 fake driver’s licenses in July 2020, allegedly linked to a Chinese scheme to produce fraudulent ballots.
These findings directly challenge public assurances made at the time by former FBI Director Christopher Wray, who said he had not seen evidence of any foreign plots aimed at disrupting the 2020 vote.
