Originally planned for an outdoor setting, the inauguration was moved indoors due to freezing weather conditions. Following the ceremony, the White House’s official website underwent a dramatic revamp, signaling the start of the Trump administration.
The redesigned WhiteHouse.gov prominently features an image of President Trump and declares, “America is Back.” A message on the site promises a renewed focus on delivering a “golden age” for the country.
“Every single day I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe, and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age of America,” the website proclaims.
