Judge denies Trump’s latest effort to postpone hush money trial

by | Apr 10, 2024

An appeals judge on Wednesday rejected President Trump's third effort this week to postpone his April 15 criminal trial related to alleged hush money paid to Stormy Daniels.

During a previous hearing, Trump's attorney, Emil Bove, argued for a trial delay, citing Justice Juan Merchan's pending ruling on their request for his recusal as the overseeing judge in the case.

As of now, Justice Juan Merchan has not made a ruling on the motion requesting his recusal.
