Hague Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Russian Military Leaders

The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, has issued arrest warrants for two Russian military commanders.

Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash and Admiral Viktor Sokolov are both accused of several war crimes, including directing attacks on civilian objects, particularly strikes on Ukrainian electricity infrastructure during the winter of 2022 to 2023.

At the time, Kobylash served as the commander of the Long-Range Aviation of the Aerospace Force, while Sokolov held the position of commander of the Black Sea Fleet, as reported by the Ukrainian online newspaper The Kyiv Independent, citing the court.
