The Department of War announced the first release of previously undisclosed Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, or UAP, files through a new federal initiative known as the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, or PURSUE.
According to the department, the effort involves multiple federal agencies, including the White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Energy, NASA, the FBI, and the Department of War’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office. The files are being published through a centralized online archive at WAR.GOV/UFO, with additional releases planned on a rolling basis.
The release follows direction from President Trump to begin identifying and declassifying government-held UAP records as part of a broader transparency initiative. The department said the archive includes declassified videos, photographs, and source documents gathered across multiple federal agencies and is now accessible to the public without security clearance restrictions.
The Department of War stated that all released materials underwent security review prior to publication, though many documents and media files have not yet been fully analyzed for anomaly resolution. Officials said the administration intends to continue expanding the archive as additional files are cleared for release.
