Bondi Orders Probe Into Obama-Biden Lawfare as Ongoing Election Interference Conspiracy

by | Dec 29, 2025

Attorney General Pam Bondi said she has directed prosecutors to investigate the Obama-Biden era campaign of lawfare as an ongoing conspiracy that interfered with elections, shielded Democrats from criminal scrutiny, and violated the civil rights of Republicans, including President Trump and his supporters.

In written responses to Just the News, Bondi said the investigation mirrors FBI Director Kash Patel’s earlier call to examine the weaponization of intelligence and law enforcement dating back to the Russia collusion probe. Framing the conduct as an ongoing conspiracy allows prosecutors to pursue actions that would otherwise fall outside the statute of limitations, similar to cases brought against drug cartels and the mafia.

Bondi said her department and the FBI have released “an unprecedented number of documents to Congress about government weaponization, far more than prior administrations,” arguing the evidence establishes the basis for conspiracy charges. While she did not name jurisdictions, officials told Just the News that a major focus is Florida, where President Trump’s home was raided in 2022.

She said the evidence shows the FBI protected political figures such as Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton while targeting conservatives for their beliefs, relying on excessive legal processes instead of addressing public safety threats.
