President Trump announced Friday that he is immediately banning “Fake News” outlets CNN, MSNOW, and Politico from the White House.
Trump said MSNOW changed its name from MSNBC because of low viewership and credibility. He said Politico got an $8 million government subscription under Joe Biden, an all-time record he called illegal and corrupt, to keep the outlet alive.
The outlets are barred because of constant fake news, fiction, and lies about President Trump, his administration, and the United States. Other outlets will face the same ban later. The move takes effect right away and applies only to White House access for those three organizations.
