Trump Appeals Hush Money Conviction, Seeks to Overturn Verdict

President Trump has officially appealed his hush money conviction, challenging the verdict that made him the first U.S. president with a criminal record to take office.


His legal team filed a notice of appeal Wednesday, requesting that the state’s mid-level appeals court overturn his May conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records.
