Fox News Identifies 54 Groups Behind France’s Protests and Wider ‘Chaos Inc.’ Network

by | Oct 19, 2026

A Fox News investigation identified 54 organizations and movements behind France’s October student protests and their wider international network of supporters and amplifiers, including communist parties, revolutionary socialist groups, labor unions, environmental activists, Muslim student advocates, and pro-Palestinian organizations.

Far-left socialist and communist groups helped organize and amplify the unrest from the start, using school-condition grievances as a pretext to mobilize a broader struggle against capitalism, austerity, policing, and military spending. Demonstrations on Oct. 17 spread across French cities, with rioters attacking public buildings and looting stores; more than half a million joined the cost-of-living protests. Only 16 of the 54 are student or youth organizations; the remaining 38 are adult-led communist groups, unions, political parties, revolutionary-left outfits, advocacy groups, and international media.

The investigation highlighted Singham-network amplifiers: Tricontinental (executive director Vijay Prashad made an X post, stating: “Paris-New Delhi-Buenos Aires”), CodePink, and BreakThrough News. CodePink co-founder Jodie Evans cited youth demos in France, Spain, and India while promoting a November Washington campaign against U.S. military spending.

Fox News reported separately that 28 communist and socialist youth organizations are coordinating a strike across 12 European countries under the slogan “Fight for Our Future, Not Their Wars!” calling for walkouts, demonstrations, blockades, and occupations.
