Pam Bondi is transitioning from her role as Attorney General and will move into a new position in the private sector, to be announced at a later date, according to a Truth Social post written by President Trump.
In the post, Trump praised Bondi as a “great American Patriot” and a loyal friend, crediting her with overseeing a nationwide crackdown on crime during her tenure. He said murders fell to their lowest level since 1900 while she served as Attorney General.
Trump also announced that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will serve as Acting Attorney General following Bondi’s departure. Bondi’s next role has not yet been disclosed.
