Trump Announces Breakthrough Peace Agreement Between Israel and Hamas

by | Oct 8, 2025

President Trump announced Tuesday evening that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first phase of his administration’s Peace Plan,  a major diplomatic breakthrough that will lead to the release of all hostages and an initial withdrawal of Israeli troops.

According to the president, Israel will pull its forces back to a mutually agreed line while preparations begin for the hostages’ release, which he said will occur “very soon.”

Calling it “a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America,” Trump credited mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey for helping secure the deal.

“We thank the mediators who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen,” Trump wrote. “BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!”
