Third Senior Pentagon Official Placed on Leave in Leak Investigation

The Pentagon placed a third senior official on administrative leave Wednesday amid an ongoing investigation into potential leaks, according to a defense official and another person familiar with the situation.

 

Colin Carroll, chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg, was suspended one day after two other appointees were placed on leave as part of the same probe into the disclosure of sensitive information.
