The Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that President Trump can stay on the 2024 presidential primary ballots, rejecting attempts by states to hold him accountable for Jan 6.
Just a day before the Super Tuesday primaries, the justices ruled that states are unable to invoke a post-Civil War constitutional provision to prevent presidential candidates from appearing on ballots, without action from Congress first.
This decision ends efforts by Colorado, Illinois, Maine, and elsewhere, to remove Trump, the front-runner for his party's nomination, from the ballot.
