Michael Roman, a former Trump campaign aide indicted alongside Trump in the Georgia election interference case, has been subpoenaed as part of an ongoing election investigation in Arizona.

The probe focuses on efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the state. This development, previously unreported, is part of an ongoing investigation led by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. Her office had previously confirmed to ABC News its investigation into the so-called “alternate elector” plot in Arizona.

According to sources familiar with the matter, attorney Kenneth Chesebro, accused of aiding in the development of the Trump campaign's elector plan, participated in an interview with investigators in Arizona in recent weeks.

Chesebro, who was indicted in the Georgia investigation, struck a deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty to a single felony charge and agreeing to cooperate.

Sources also revealed that Chesebro was not subpoenaed in Arizona but voluntarily participated in the interview.
