Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced Friday in Phoenix that he is suspending his campaign and endorsing President Trump, citing what he called relentless media control and censorship.
He also formally announced that he would partner with President Trump's administration to end Big Pharma’s war on children. “We will make Americans healthy again… within four years, America will be healthy.”
“In my heart, I no longer believe that I have a realistic path of electoral victory in the face of this relentless, systematic censorship and media control,” Kennedy said at the news conference. “I cannot, in good conscience, ask my staff and volunteers to keep working their long hours, or ask my donors to keep giving when I cannot honestly tell them that I have a real path to the White House.”
A filing in Pennsylvania stated that Kennedy had endorsed President Trump, with him and Nicole Shanahan, his running mate, withdrawing their opposition to a ballot challenge “as a result of today’s endorsement” of Trump.
The son of Bobby Kennedy and nephew of President JFK addressed supporters in Arizona, reflecting on the current historical moment and outlining his path forward. Just hours later, Trump is set to hold a rally in nearby Glendale. Trump's campaign hinted at the appearance of “a special guest” during the event, sparking speculation, though neither campaign has confirmed whether Kennedy will be that guest.
