Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles has introduced articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris, as reported by Politico's Olivia Beavers.
The articles accuse Harris of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” asserting that she “willfully and systematically refused to uphold federal immigration laws.” They further claim that in her capacity as Vice President, Harris “has deliberately obstructed and impeded the administration of justice” and shown “extraordinary incompetence in performing her duties.”
Ogles's action follows Joe Biden's recent announcement that he will not seek reelection, which has led to Harris being seen as the probable Democratic nominee.
