FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday that arrests tied to the Russia hoax investigation are forthcoming during an appearance on Fox News’ Mornings with Maria.
Patel said the FBI has gathered “all the information they need” and is coordinating with prosecutors at the Department of Justice, adding, “we are going to be making arrests – and it’s coming and I promise, you, it’s coming soon.”
Pressed by host Maria Bartiromo on whether the bureau has evidence of fraud in the 2020 election, Patel said that line of inquiry is being incorporated into a broader conspiracy case, claiming investigators have information supporting President Trump’s assertions and suggesting developments could come as soon as this week.
“So what we are doing is folding that into our entire conspiracy case. But we have the information that backs President Trump’s claim, but I would say stay tuned this week. You might see a thing or two,” said Patel.
