by | Feb 3, 2026

Judicial Watch announced Monday it filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice seeking records on the FBI’s Public Corruption Unit investigation of President Trump, codenamed “Arctic Frost.”

The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia after the FBI failed to respond to an October 7, 2025, FOIA request for investigative reports from the Washington Field Office’s CR-15 squad, Justice Department approvals for investigative techniques, and communications with former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office.
