Hunter Biden intends to take legal action against Fox News for alleged defamation, exploitation of his image, and the publication of hacked photographs, as per a letter acquired by Axios.
Hunter Biden's legal representatives stated their expectation of “imminent” litigation against Fox News and requested that key hosts, such as Sean Hannity, Jesse Waters, and Maria Bartiromo, retain documentation.
The legal team also insisted that Fox News remove their special, “The Trial of Hunter Biden,” which comprises a six-part mock trial centered on his foreign business engagements.
In addition, his legal team demanded that Fox News hosts inform their viewers about the February indictment of Alexander Smirnov, a former informant accused of lying to the FBI about Hunter Biden's business affairs. They also requested that all Fox News articles be amended with an editor's note. Although a response was requested by Friday, Apr. 26, none was received.
Abbe Lowell has spearheaded much of this new strategy but is reportedly not involved in the potential litigation against Fox News due to a legal conflict, as per two sources familiar.
