First airdrop from U.S. in Gaza

According to U.S. and Israeli officials, on Saturday afternoon, U.S. military aircraft flew their first airdrop of aid into the Gaza Strip.

In the upcoming days, a U.S. official told Axios he anticipates more airdrops.

More than one million Palestinian civilians are concentrated in the Rafah area, near the Gaza/Egypt border,  which is where the airdrop took place.
