Elon Musk met with Donald Trump in Palm Beach, according to reports

by | Mar 6, 2024

Elon Musk had a meeting with President Donald Trump on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida, alongside undisclosed affluent Republican contributors, as per the New York Times, which cited three individuals briefed on the gathering.

Trump is actively seeking support from donors as he prepares for a general election showdown against Joe Biden. The extent of Musk's potential financial backing or endorsement of Trump and his 2024 campaign remains uncertain.

On March 2, private jets owned by Trump and Musk were observed landing within an hour of each other at a Palm Beach airport. The jets' locations were initially disclosed online by the service called “Elon Jet,” which utilizes publicly accessible data to monitor over 125 jets owned by politicians, celebrities, and executives.

In September 2023, Musk visited the White House to engage in discussions about artificial intelligence technology; however, he did not meet with Biden during that visit.
