On Monday, Donald Trump secured victory in the North Dakota Republican presidential caucuses, extending his series of wins as Super Tuesday approaches.
Trump claimed the top spot in voting across 12 caucus sites, surpassing former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley. This outcome sustains Trump's winning streak, which momentarily paused on Sunday when Haley achieved her first victory of the campaign in the District of Columbia's primary.
Now, the contenders shift their focus to Super Tuesday, where outcomes will emerge from 16 states in contests that represent the largest single-day delegate acquisition in the presidential primary.
In North Dakota, candidates can earn delegates if they secure a minimum of 20% of the vote. However, a candidate who achieves at least 60% of the vote obtains all 29 delegates allocated by the state.
