U.S., Russian Envoys Describe Davos Talks on Ukraine as Positive and Constructive

Envoys for President Trump and Russian President Putin said Tuesday that discussions in Davos on a potential path to end the war in Ukraine were productive, characterizing the meeting as both “very positive” and “constructive.”

 

Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev said discussions at the “USA House” with Trump envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner reflected growing recognition of Moscow’s position, adding that “dialogue is constructive and more and more people understand the fairness of the Russian position.”
