U.S. Forces Strike Iran’s Qeshm Island in Series of Undisclosed Attacks

by | Nov 3, 2026

U.S. forces struck Iran’s Qeshm Island on Monday as part of a series of limited attacks U.S. officials described as defensive measures intended to protect American assets and restrict Iran’s ability to threaten shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The latest attack reportedly came after Iranian forces fired at a U.S. aircraft. Qeshm Island, located near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, is a strategic location that hosts a naval base and missile facilities. Iranian state media reported several explosions on the island.

The strikes were kept largely undisclosed to avoid signaling a return to major U.S. combat operations against Iran.
