Trump Signals Joint Denuclearization Effort With China and Russia

by | Nov 6, 2025

President Trump said Wednesday that the United States may be developing a joint denuclearization plan with China and Russia.

Speaking at the American Business Forum in Miami, Trump said, “We redid our nuclear — we’re the number one nuclear power, which I hate to admit, because it’s so horrible.” He added, “Russia’s second. China’s a distant third, but they’ll catch us within four or five years. We’re maybe working on a plan to denuclearize, the three of us. We’ll see if that works.”
