by | Nov 12, 2024

President-elect Donald Trump has announced Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy as the leaders of a newly proposed “Department of Government Efficiency.”

In a statement accompanying the announcement, Trump compared the initiative to the Manhattan Project that developed the atomic bomb. He highlighted Musk’s enthusiasm, quoting him as saying, “This will send shockwaves through the system, and anyone involved in Government waste, which is a lot of people!”

Trump, 78, praised the appointees, stating, “Together, these two wonderful Americans will pave the way for my Administration to dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies – Essential to the ‘Save America’ Movement.”
