Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman held a confidential meeting with President Trump and top U.S. officials at the White House on Thursday, with the talks focused on efforts to de-escalate tensions with Iran, end the war in Gaza, and secure the release of hostages.
Known as KBS and the younger brother of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prince Khalid discussed pathways to peace in the Middle East, including preliminary steps toward potential normalization with Israel, according to sources familiar with the meeting, cited by Fox News.
The discussions reportedly reflected significant progress and optimism across all fronts. While normalization was not the central topic, it was described as part of the broader roadmap under review.
