Musk Revives America PAC for 2026 Midterms

by | Jul 30, 2026

Elon Musk is jumping back into politics with a major investment aimed at boosting Republican voter turnout in the midterms, reactivating his super PAC, America PAC, which spent more than $260 million helping elect President Trump in 2024.

Musk has been in talks with Trump’s team about how to help. The PAC will focus on door-knocking, digital advertising, and direct mail targeting the conservative base, including voters who often skip non-presidential elections.

Musk’s representatives won’t say exactly how much he’ll spend, but given his record, the number is expected to be huge. His 2024 donations through America PAC already made him the largest individual political donor in a single election cycle in U.S. history.

James Blair, Trump’s senior political adviser, called the PAC’s return “a huge boost for Republicans across the country,” saying it was “an essential partner” for the 2024 get-out-the-vote operation. America PAC spokesperson Andrew Romeo said the group is “excited to again be part of the team” and help Republicans “buck history and retain control of Congress.”

The effort will be led by Musk’s top political adviser, Chris Young.
