President Trump announced on Truth Social that he is renominating Musk ally, entrepreneur, and astronaut Jared Isaacman to serve as the next Administrator of NASA, praising his leadership and vision for America’s space program.
“Jared’s passion for space, astronaut experience, and dedication to pushing the boundaries of exploration, unlocking the mysteries of the universe, and advancing the new space economy make him the right person for this mission,” Trump wrote.
Isaacman, a billionaire entrepreneur, pilot, and philanthropist, has partnered closely with Elon Musk’s company SpaceX on several groundbreaking missions, including the all-civilian Inspiration4 mission in 2021 and the ongoing Polaris Program. Musk has publicly praised Isaacman’s achievements, calling them major milestones in expanding access to space.
