Iran launches drone attack against Israel

by | Apr 13, 2024

Iran has launched drone attacks against Israel, following an Israeli strike on the Iranian consulate in Syria that resulted in the deaths of Iranian generals and officers, totaling seven, earlier this month.

The Israeli Defense Force informed Newsweek on Saturday that Iran deployed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from its territory towards Israel.

A U.S. official confirmed to ABC News that U.S. forces have shot down some of the Iranian drones en route to Israel.
