In response to Navalny’s passing, the White House will impose “major sanctions “on Russia

To hold Russia accountable for Alexei Navalny's passing, the White House will release a new major sanctions package on Friday, according to National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby.

Russia faces extensive sanctions already. Kirby refrained from providing specifics about the contents of the new package.
