Former Hunter Biden associate Devon Archer switches sides, turns to MAGA

by | Sep 17, 2024

Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's former business associate and long-time friend, has shifted his political allegiance by supporting President Trump in the upcoming November election.

Archer attended a Trump campaign fundraiser in Beverly Hills, California, which was publicized by Ventura County Republican Party committeewoman Lori Mills, who shared a photo of Archer at the event on X on Thursday evening.

Archer, a key figure in the ongoing Congressional investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings, has appeared before multiple House committees over the past two years. He previously testified that Hunter Biden regularly involved his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, in business calls during meetings, leading to suspicions that Joe Biden may have used his political influence to protect his son's business interests, particularly in Ukraine.

Documents provided by Archer also revealed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was aware as early as 2016 of Hunter Biden and his associates' plans to launch a new business venture in Liechtenstein while Hunter was still on Burisma's board. This raised concerns about potential violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Archer’s testimony and documentation have made him a central figure in the Biden family corruption investigation and impeachment inquiry. Despite Archer’s statements, the release of an impeachment inquiry report in August, and the review of thousands of documents, the House of Representatives has yet to take formal action against Joe Biden, who remains at the heart of the corruption allegations.
