FBI Director Patel Meets China’s Top Security Official in Beijing

FBI Director Kash Patel held talks Friday in Beijing with Chinese State Councilor and Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong.

 

Wang pressed both sides to follow through on understandings reached by their presidents and keep dialogue constructive on the basis of mutual respect.

He specifically called for deeper cooperation on drug trafficking, telecom and online fraud, child pornography, money laundering, and tracking down fugitives. The two sides agreed to continue expanding law enforcement exchanges and practical cooperation.
