Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has submitted a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court, advising them to reject Mark Meadows' petition seeking to transfer his Georgia election fraud case to a federal court. Fani’s move comes as the Georgia Court of Appeals is preparing to hear arguments Friday, scrutinizing a ruling by Judge Scott McAfee, which upheld the participation of DA Willis in the case against Trump and others.
This legal challenge stems from allegations by Michael Roman, another co-defendant and former White House staffer. Roman's argument centers on Willis's supposed misconduct, including an inappropriate relationship with Nathan Wade, previously involved as a special prosecutor, and financial gains Willis allegedly accrued from the investigation through her ties with Wade.
