DNI Tulsi Gabbard Leads 2020 Election Fraud Investigation

by | Jan 30, 2026

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has taken a leading role in investigating fraud in the 2020 presidential election, according to White House and administration officials.

The effort has focused on vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems and potential interference by foreign and domestic actors, with intelligence analysis coordinated with the FBI, Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle said Gabbard “has a pivotal role in election security and protecting the integrity of our elections against interference, including operations targeting voting systems, databases, and election infrastructure.” Gabbard has provided regular briefings to President Trump, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, DOJ officials, and election attorneys involved in the effort.

As part of the investigation, federal agents this week executed a court-authorized search at a Fulton County, Georgia, election office. The warrant sought voter rolls, digital data, tabulator tapes, and ballots as potential evidence of criminal activity, including the possible destruction of election records and submission of fraudulent votes, according to court filings and reports.

Gabbard was photographed at the scene while FBI agents carried out the search. Trump, speaking Thursday night at the Kennedy Center premiere of First Lady Melania Trump’s documentary, said, “You’re going to see some very interesting things happening. They’ve been trying to get there for a long time.”
