Brazil’s top court suspends X after Musk defies order to appoint legal representative

by | Aug 30, 2024

The move marks the climax of a months-long standoff between Musk and Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who has been leading efforts to combat the spread of “fake news” and “hate speech”, which he argues are threatening Brazil's democracy.
