Trump To Unveil Gaza Reconstruction Fund And UN-Backed Stabilization Force At First Board Of Peace Meeting

by | Feb 13, 2026

President Trump is expected to announce a multi-billion-dollar Gaza reconstruction fund and outline plans for a United Nations-authorized stabilization force during the first formal meeting of his Board of Peace in Washington next week, according to senior U.S. officials.

The meeting will focus exclusively on Gaza and is set for February 19, with delegations from at least 20 countries expected to attend. Officials said Trump will detail a reconstruction fund supported by financial contributions from participating board members and announce that several countries plan to provide thousands of troops for an international stabilization force slated to deploy in the coming months.

Under the plan, Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and disarmament would receive amnesty, while those seeking to leave Gaza would be granted safe passage to receiving countries.

Board of Peace sessions will also include updates from the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza, created to replace Hamas in overseeing the enclave’s civil governance, along with briefings on humanitarian aid and Gaza policing efforts. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Wednesday that Israel has joined the board.
