Trump to Lead “Board of Peace” for Gaza in White House 20-Point Plan

by | Sep 29, 2025

President Trump would chair an international “board of peace” to oversee the governance and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip under a 20-point White House plan unveiled Monday, aiming to end the conflict between Israel and Hamas and establish a long-term path to peace. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed support for Trump’s proposal.

The plan envisions a demilitarized, terror-free Gaza governed temporarily by a technocratic Palestinian committee under the Board of Peace, with oversight from figures including Tony Blair. Israeli forces would gradually withdraw while hostages are released, prisoners exchanged, and Hamas militants who commit to peace are granted amnesty or safe passage.

Gaza would receive immediate humanitarian aid and economic redevelopment, including infrastructure repair, job creation, and a special economic zone to attract investment. Hamas and other factions would be barred from governance, and all military infrastructure would be destroyed under independent supervision. An International Stabilization Force would train Palestinian police, secure borders, and maintain internal stability.

The plan aims to establish security, prosperity, and eventual self-determination for Gaza, with Israel retaining no occupation or annexation.
