Trump Golf Course and Villas Coming to Qatar in New $5.5 Billion Development

by | Apr 29, 2025

Real estate developers Qatari Diar and Dar Global will unveil a deal Wednesday to launch Qatar’s first Trump-branded real estate project, a source familiar with the plans told Reuters.

The project, which includes the Trump International Golf Course and Trump Villas, will be part of the $5.5 billion Simaisma beachside development located about 40 minutes north of Doha. The sprawling 7-kilometer coastal district is being led by Qatari Diar and will feature an 18-hole golf course and a Land of Legends theme park.

The deal coincides with a visit to the Gulf by Eric Trump, son of President Trump and a top Trump Organization executive. Speaking to Reuters Tuesday, Eric Trump said the Gulf region depends on a strong United States, adding that stability is key to regional economic success.

Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi Arabia’s Dar Al Arkan, has previously partnered with the Trump Organization on several ventures, including a newly launched Trump Tower in Dubai and upcoming projects in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Oman. The Simaisma golf course and villas mark the Trump brand’s debut in energy-rich Qatar.

President Trump is expected to visit Qatar in the coming weeks as part of his first major foreign trip since returning to office, with additional stops planned in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He has signaled plans to sign major investment deals during the tour.
