The Trump Campaign, Republican National Committee, and Arizona GOP have joined together to establish an Election Integrity team aimed at protecting Arizona’s upcoming elections. Leading this initiative is Harmeet Dhillon, a well-known conservative attorney and staunch defender of election integrity.
Amid concerns over potential election manipulation, the new team aims to ensure every legal vote in Arizona is accurately counted. Trump Campaign Managers Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, along with RNC Chairman Michael Whatley and Co-Chair Lara Trump, praised Dhillon’s appointment in a joint statement, saying, “Harmeet is an unmatched force for Election Integrity and will lead the fight, and win, to secure Arizona’s elections.”
Arizona GOP Chairwoman Gina Swoboda also emphasized the state’s pivotal role in the 2024 election, stating, “Arizona is the battleground for this election, and Harmeet is ready to lead the fight.”
Dhillon expressed her excitement on social media, noting her readiness to spearhead legal efforts in Arizona. “Honored to serve… I look forward to working with our Arizona legal colleagues already on the ground,” she said, highlighting her determination to lead key legal battles.
The move comes as Arizona’s election landscape faces significant challenges. Kory Langhoffer, the Arizona GOP’s sole election attorney, resigned just days before mail-in ballots are set to be distributed. His departure followed his refusal to file a lawsuit concerning 218,000 voters registered without citizenship verification, an issue supposedly linked to a glitch in the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division’s system.
Although outside groups, backed by America First Legal, have stepped in to sue the Secretary of State’s office over this matter, frustration remains. Despite RNC Chairman Michael Whatley’s assurances that they are “working very, very hard” to address these issues, critics argue that more needs to be done.
With the 2024 presidential election drawing near, Dhillon’s leadership is seen as a critical step toward ensuring election security and restoring voter confidence in Arizona.
