President Trump announced on Truth Social that he completed a “very productive” call with Chinese President Xi Jinping, covering trade, fentanyl, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the approval of the TikTok deal.
The two leaders agreed to meet in person at the upcoming APEC Summit in South Korea. Trump also said he plans to visit China early next year, with President Xi expected to visit the United States at a later date.
Trump described the call as “very good” and said he and Xi will continue discussions by phone, expressing appreciation for the TikTok approval and looking forward to their meetings at APEC.
